Des images particulièrement crues d'un Mouammar Kadhafi couvert de sang et empoigné par des combattants surexcités circulent sur les télévisions du monde entier, semant le doute sur les circonstances exactes de la mort de l'ancien "Guide" libyen.

Les images filmées de ce qui apparaît comme ses dernières secondes de vie offrent toutefois quelques indications sur sa mort.

Mouammar Kadhafi était encore vivant lors de sa capture près de Syrte. Dans la vidéo, filmée par un spectateur présent au milieu de la foule, on distingue Mouammar Kadhafi tiré hors du capot d'un véhicule et jeté par terre en étant tiré par les cheveux.

"Laissez-le en vie ! Laissez-le en vie !" crie une voix. Puis, on entend des coups de feu. Dans le chaos, les images changent alors de plan et ne filment plus l'ancien leader libyen. D'autres coups retentissent alors.

"Ils (les soldats) l'ont capturé vivant et alors qu'il allait être transporté, ils l'ont tabassé et ensuite ils l'ont tué", a confié une source haut placée du Conseil national de transition (CNT).

Ces images semblent contredire la version officielle du gouvernement libyen.

Mahmoud Djibril, chef du gouvernement du CNT, a expliqué que Mouammar Kadhafi était mort d'une blessure par balle à la tête reçue lors d'une fusillade entre ses gardes et les soldats pro-gouvernementaux.

"Le véhicule, quand il s'est mis en route, a été pris dans une fusillade entre les révolutionnaires et les forces de Kadhafi qui a été touché d'une balle dans la tête", a déclaré Djibril lors d'une conférence de presse à Tripoli, lisant le rapport d'un médecin légiste.

"Le médecin légiste ne peut dire si la balle venait des révolutionnaires ou des forces de Kadhafi", a-t-il ajouté.

Sur d’autres images filmées, Mouatassim, le fils de Kadhafi apparaît en vie. Il sera déclaré mort quelques heures après dans des circonstances mystérieuses. - AfricaLog avec agence
