George Zimmerman, ce surveillant de quartier qui a admis avoir tué un adolescent noir non armé en Floride, est accusé de meurtre non prémédité, a annoncé la procureure spéciale Angela Corey mercredi.
La procureure Corey a déclaré que George Zimmerman, âgé de 28 ans, était en détention en Floride.
Elle n'a pas voulu préciser à quel endroit pour des raisons de sécurité, mais a indiqué qu'il comparaîtrait en cour dans les prochaines 24 heures.
Le procureure a affirmé que les autorités n'avaient pas pris cette décision à la légère et a assuré que la mise en accusation de George Zimmerman n'avait pas été motivée par la pression populaire.
Le meurtre non prémédité est passible d'une peine d'emprisonnement à vie. Cette accusation est généralement liée à une bagarre ou à une confrontation qui se solde par la mort d'une personne.
Depuis l'incident survenu le 26 février dans une communauté privée de la Floride, George Zimmerman maintient avoir agi en légitime défense après une bagarre. Il n'a pas été arrêté immédiatement, en partie grâce à la loi sur la légitime défense en Floride, qui permet aux citoyens de faire usage de la force létale dans plusieurs circonstances.

I'm wondered whether racism will end once in our world which could be so beautiful without it, and believe that it can be worst if we stay without finding a way to solve it. While many things changed in our living as it is changing too but I’m eager to know why we still ignoring this one to which we should take care to a high level. We all know that human being is a successful person in anything he decides to do and many things do prove it – human being has done so many unbelievable things to which no one of us could believed that someone could do, and today those things are really contributing for making our livings to a better life. Why really we won’t go through this one too (we must find for always ways to end with it (racism) or instead it will end us (all) once in the future). We need to know the starting point of this anger in the heart of people (as by knowing the problem we can always come out with a solution(s)) and by not hesitating to tell the truth between us finally that's for sure we can find solutions – nothing is impossible, while we are aware that we are all human beings (the only different between us is just the way we think of how to solve our problems once they occurred – the best of us is which one comes out with the helpful solution), we are really aware about that we must live together, work together, accept each other and love each other…, so let’s be through that way. We can't be waiting for any angel to come from the sky and solve our problems for us but instead we need to go through them and together I believe we can have solution about this (racism) too.
