Une nouvelle recrue célèbre fera bientôt ses premiers pas sur la chaîne de télévision américaine NBC, dans l'émission-phare "Today": Jenna Bush Hager, 27 ans, l'une des deux filles jumelles de l'ancien président républicain George W. Bush.

La jeune femme, enseignante à Baltimore, interviendra environ une fois par mois sur les dossiers concernant l'éducation dans la plus regardée des émissions matinales d'information de la télévision américaine, a précisé le producteur Jim Bell.

"Ce n'est pas comme si j'avais toujours rêvé de faire ça, mais je pense que l'une des choses les plus importantes dans la vie est de garder l'esprit ouvert et d'être ouvert au changement", a déclaré Jenna Bush Hager. Elle n'a pas l'intention d'évoquer sa vie de fille de président, a-t-elle précisé. "Je ne pense pas que ce soit intéressant, je suis tout à fait normale."
