February 16, 2013, Time: 1:30 to 5:00 PM, Place: Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library, ROOM A-5
901 G St. N.W. Washington, DC 20001
This event is organized by the Heritage Revival Projects, to engage a cross section of the Africana
communities to participate and contribute to a conceptual discourse and planning for a sustained worldwide participatory conversation of peoples of African heritage that will be formally launched during a Caribbean cruise in November 2013. That dialogue will be lead by eminent scholars, experts, community leaders, cultural specialists, Pan African thinkers and activists as well as grassroots participants from the global Africana community for a guided self-awareness, consciousness-raising, and family-reconstructive conversation.
